As a member of the human race, some days are tough. Sometimes, the days join up and become a week of tough!
Perhaps it’s because of illness or simply being tired; they’re the ‘easy’ tough days really.
Because at other times, it’s some news about a loved one that brings your world to a standstill; that has the power to crush the breath from your body with it’s intensity. They’re the really tough days!
There’s a great Zen saying I love:
“You should sit in meditation for 20 minutes a day.
Unless you’re too busy; then you should sit for longer.”
And while it’s true (and also really useful to do, I promise), maybe you can sit for five minutes today. ..
